Under Armour came to Shilo for a series of pieces centered around the 2011 Women’s World Cup. We shot on Super-16 in a nod to the rich history of 60s and 70s vérité docs. This piece focuses on travel, isolation, and the team bond that shared experience fosters.
The second of the Under Armour Women’s World Cup pieces for Shilo focused on Heather Mitts. Heather was kind enough to open up on a number of subjects that all athletes can relate to: overcoming injuries, relentless hard work, the team’s bond, and the desire to be great.
Boston Breakers forward, Olympian, and US National Team member Lauren Cheney is the subject of this mini-doc for Shilo and Under Armour, which focuses on anxiety and harnessing the desire to prove oneself.
André Stringer of Shilo and I co-directed this spot for Under Armour that aired around the BCS National Championship. Those of you who were fortunate enough to catch the game got to see the UA-clad Auburn Tigers defeat the Nike-sporting Oregon Ducks. Congrats to Auburn and Under Armour.
ATTIK tasked Shilo to create a piece for their viral “Want 2 B Square” campaign and Shilo turned to me to write, direct and edit. We shot it in an hour and then doctored it up with some effects.
